Very Good plus overall condition S/42 1937 dated Luger equipped with bladed front sight, V notch rear sight. This pistol is chambered in 9mm and equipped with a 4" barrel. All numbers match on this Luger excluding the magazine, the pistol is proofed on the upper left side of the barrel, the underside of the barrel, and the right side of the receiver. The original finish is very good on this Luger retaining approximately 85% of the bluing. There are normal areas of wear on the side plate and the barrel. Portions of the barrel show areas of thinning and display a soothing patina. The bore is very good with sharp grooves and very light frosting. The walnut grips are in good condition showing only normal wear and no cracks or blemishes. A very desirable 1937 dated Luger! Serial number - 7153
